What is the right working height on a BBQ Plancha?

The diameter depends on how many people you would like to bake for at the same time. For example, a Big Green Egg (large) has a baking grid of 46cm and can handle a sizeable group.

Our smallest hob is already 67cm in diameter. It does have a wok ring, but still has a considerably larger cooking surface than the familiar Egg. With this, you have more than enough for up to 10 people.

The height of a plancha bbq grill does matter. After all, you don't want to bend your knees when you are cooking. The right height is 90-95 cm. If the height falls between this standard, it is ideal.

Another nice thing about this height is that if you use it as a fire bowl, you have a great view from a garden table.
